Tom McNerney - Senior MinisterTom is a Michigan native; born and raised in a small town similar to Solsberry. He is an avid Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings sports fan along with his beloved Michigan Wolverines. He also loves all things out-of-doors, which includes camping, biking, hiking and kayaking. Tom and his wife, Rhonda have been married since 1985. They have 3 children, Alisa (Joe) Camarata, Anna (Chris) Bejcek and Samuel McNerney along with 5 grandchildren Adeline & Josie Bejcek and Henri, Oscar & Sully Camarata. His three favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien. and Bill Watterson.

Debbie Newman - SecretaryDebbie has been the secretary @ SCC since 2006. Debbie also volunteers with the Operation Outreach
food pantry preparing the paperwork and registration at the large holiday give-aways. Debbie is married and has two grown children and loves spending time with her two beautiful granddaughters. Stacey Deckard - Children's MinisterStacey has been the Children's coordinator at SCC since 2017 and a member of SCC for 20 years. Stacey loves leading youth events, bringing the congregation together to grow relationships. She and her family can say without a doubt that they love their church family, and she loves how God has put her to work in His church. With three kids, Stacey and her husband, Brandon, are always busy coaching sports and running youth events, but when they get some free time they love to go camping! Stacey's full time job is teaching Kindergarten at Eastern Greene. She loves that God allows her to foster growth in children, and says that her greatest pleasure comes from introducing them to Jesus!

Tammy Spradlin - Worship MinisterTammy has been at SCC since September of 2014. She loves Greene County and the people she serves both at SCC and at Eastern Greene as a 3rd grade teacher. Tammy loves all styles of music and tries to incorporate a variety of them into church services each week. She is a graduate of IU, and spent time at Kentucky Christian University as well. Before coming to SCC, she served as a program director for the Girl Scouts of Tulip Trace and spent several years as a children's minister in the Bedford area. Tammy has a musical family that consists of her husband Jerry and three children: Zach, Josh & Jillian. They all love to play music, sing, and watch a good movie. You might also find them out biking the trails in Bloomington or int he kitchen making yummy treats!

Stewart Cobine - ElderStew and his wife, Sandi have been members of SCC since 1986. Stew served at SCC as part-time youth minister from 1986-1992, as interim minister twice, and as an elder for more than 20 years. He holds a MA in Religion (Pastoral Ministry) from Cincinnati Christian University. Stew and Sandi were married in 1981 and have two daughters, a son, and two granddaughters. Stew has worked in finance and treasury positions at IU since 1986 and is currently AVP & Chief Audit Officer. Stew enjoys walking in the Indiana State Parks with Sandi, spending time with the kids and the grandkids, listening to & playing all types of music (volume up), and reading good books on the significant people & events, in American, Irish & early church history. Stew's favorite bible verse is Ephesians 3.20-21!

Fred Pieper - ElderFred and his wife, Karen, have been attending SCC for 36 years, and he has been an elder for 11 years. Fred is "semi-retired" from his job of 19 years working in maintenance at Sherwood Oaks. Prior to that he worked for RCA for 29 years. Fred has a wonderful wife, two children of whom he is very proud, and four beloved grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and pastoral shepherding at SCC.

Jim Weimer - ElderJim has lived in the Solsberry community for his entire life, and he has attended SCC since he was six days old (which he says was "a very long. long time ago!!") He is Married to Joy Dawn Inman Weimer. They enjoy working around their home and traveling on short trips together. He is a retired middle school social
studies teacher who enjoys Sunday School and Bible study. "Among many favorite Bible verses is Matthew 5:1-12,"The Beatitudes", provides a constant blessing." - Jim |
Ron Carter - ElderRon and his wife, Melody, have been members of Solsberry Christian since 2001. He married Melody in 1987, and they have two sons. Ron retired from electronics in 2013, and is a USAF veteran. He enjoys the outdoors, working with his hands, turning wood, stained glass, history, teaching, travel, and the music of the 70’s.

Mark Eckerle - ElderMark and his wife Susan have been members of SCC since 2000. They have two sons, Zak and Nathan. Mark is a graduate of Purdue University (Boiler Up!) and is a middle school math teacher at Tri-North Middle School in Bloomington, where he has taught since 1990. He enjoys cooking for family and friends, playing card and board games, and singing (trying to anyway) on the praise team at SCC.
